Horse Camp

The Orick Horse Camp is located by the Orick Rodeo grounds, near the trailhead of the Orick Horse Trail, which is in Redwood National Park. From here you can ride to the beach or into the redwoods. There are 13 pens with water. Or you can tie to your trailer or bring a portable corral.

This facility is equipped with men’s and women’s bathrooms with coin operated showers ($1.25 per use). A seasonal camp host is on site. The nightly cost is $10 per horse and $5 per person. (Children 5 and under free). Day use parking is $5.

To reach the Horse Camp from Hwy 101, turn east at the Orick Elementary School onto Drydens Road. Go 1 mile and turn left at the wooden fence.
